In July and August of every year, the pride and joy of my front rock garden are the beautiful hibiscus plants with their huge white dinner plate size flowers. Unfortunately this July they were totally cut down - by mistake from someone helping me with the garden - the stalks were already 2-3 feet high. I was so disappointed! But - this August - the stalks started growing again - and at the end of August, beginning of September I have beautiful blooming plants again. As long as the roots are intact - when outside forces cut you down, you can boom again! What a beautiful lesson from nature.
